Next in line…yep it was the Wordprocessor first..now the photoeditor…come on…i’m waiting for the OS..

The idea is really simple…!..just login to WRITELY and voila! you have a word processor.Type and Save online.Share it with people you want to by email invites.If needed you can download the document to your PC.Eventhough the idea is simple the straight forward this is just the beginning of a completely online software era..pretty soon..you might be booting of the internet and pretty much everysoftware you need will be installed on a “need to have” basis..!

Best of the Two Worlds

A lot of people love IE.Yes it sucks but then..long long ago that was everyone’s favourite and some habits die hard.So if you want to know what Firefox has to offer..well you dont have to switch to Firefox!..you can try Foxie..right from your IE!!!

I am just trying Foxie so cant get nitty gritty with it..however..it seems promising for IEphiles

I came across this interesting read from nature which is about the numerics of German Publications to Nature.It is quite encouraging to see that Germany is slowly but steadily rising up in academics and there is no doubt that it will overtake the United States in quite some time.

537 submissions to Nature have come from Germany since 1 January 2005 (total global submissions = 8,987)

269 authors published in Nature so far this year were working in Germany (total number of published authors = 3,725)

22 authors working in Germany have had more than one paper published in Nature since 1 January 2005.

8 authors working in Germany are presenting original research in Nature this week.

This should also come as a good news for PhD aspirants who were eying America as a destination for Graduate studies.
