Well i was just thinking of sending my Friend the Google IM but i forgot that….so i again googled for that..phew!..i couldn’t find it instead i was led to a page..with a different..but similar idea,…yes Google talk..means..Talk with “Google”..ya chek this out.

Google Talk - A Google IM

Google Talk

Ok so whats new by google…this time its Instant messaging that has been googlized!..Yep Google Talk is the client that google has released..and like all things google…its BETA.

As expected the client integrates the Gmail account..so its pretty much like Yahoo..mail alerts and stuff like that..oops i forgot..it also has Voice chatting capabilities..one point that surprises me is that its Ad Free..!!

Google Talk offers you:

Choice: Get in touch how and when you want to–over email, IM or a call

Quality: Talk through your computer but hear your friends as if they were in the same room

Convenience: Your Gmail contacts are pre-loaded into Google Talk so inviting or talking to your friends is just a click away

At present Google talk is available only on Windows!…but one can connect to the network from other clients (in any other OS) also.

So dont wait go Google Talk!

Greasemonkey for IE - Turnabout

Remember my post about “Trixie”..which can run Greasemonkey scripts on IE.Well here’s a new entrant..please welcome “Turnabout“.Its getting quite popular these days.Eventhough it is not yet upto the mark of Trixie..it does have its advantages like source code and binaries are provided and has no external dependencies.

There arent several scripts that are available as for now..except the ones packaged along with Turnabout. But it does have the potential to become more useful in the future.Currently Turnabout is available for just IE6.
