Well incase you’ve read my previous post on Portable firefox..then youwould have noticed that i had also mentioned to check the other “Portables” available at the site
This post is about Thunderbird(Portable ofcourse)..ever dreamt of carrying your mail..INBOX with you..well ladies and gentleman it doesn’t get any better than..welcome to the world of Portable mail clients..aka Portable Thunderbird.Imagine downloading your mail to your email client..which is on a USB stick..disconnect it…take the USB anywhere u want..read mails/compose mails..and as soon as you connect the internet the mail gets sent.If your amazed (ok may be thats too much a word)..thrilled then try Thunderbird portable.Works out of the box(USB stick) also.
Chek it out..I no longer wait for that hell of a site called Rediff with a page full of ads..! i just configured thunderbird to get my Rediffmail Plus account..so while am updating my blog..my inbox is getting into my USB stick…will take it home and giv a lesiurely read and then reply.
